Hello friends, First of all , thank you for your very kind welcome words. Some of them were in Bulgarian, which is really kind!! ) : : With your permisiion i open the thread for Mazda RX Group B. Some of oyu probably saw it in AF Forums. So, in short, i have decided to produce a kit of this great car, that actually no manufacturer ever produced in 1/24. This car is at the same time quite famous and finished at 3-rd place at rally Acropolis in 1985. I think it deserves the right to be realized as a kit:) So here is the car i will make: and here are the first pictures of thevery rough progress. i actually got stucked a little bit, because i found quite a differnce between Tamiya and Monogram version of the car. One is smaller and the other one a bit bigger... funny thing.. So, i called a person that has the same car and asked him to measure many details of the car. Now i have the right dimensions and will combine both kits, because there are good parts in every on of them. So, it is a kind of REstart:) Anyway i will try to keep you updated as soon as i can and hope you will nejoy it. It will turne out into a great kit i hope. I see it in my mind as a really nice one..

Great project and great start to an absolutely amazing theme. : : I suggest you to use Tamiya's kit as base, because is easier to your customer to find it. Good luck until the end... : :

Hi, i will use the Tamiya kit, it is more true to the orginial in key points, combined with the engine and chassis parts of Monogram. This will be full kit, no transkit, so no need to look for any other kit.

Wow nice work mate : : : : I love your transformation by the putty (or clay ? ) :respect: About the curbsides I think Monogram's is smaller due the 1/25 scale (1/25 is very common in U.S.A. companies like Monogram/ERTL) And an idea; As you have already the master piece in clay/putty why you don't make new ones by thermo plastic ? It's easy just heat a plastic foil with a hairdryer until becomes soft and then press it on the original piece made by clay/putty Panagiotis

Actually i used similar "technology" fo the way you talk about . The clay served as a "master". . I made the fenders by "Milliput"-epoxy after it, but now i will have to remake them in 1/24 ;D They will not be so thick - i will try to make them as delicate as possible- it will look much better. Thermo plastic is also quite good idea i will check it- i have never seen an tried it before.

Hello friends i didn't post updates quite long time, but too much work.. Anyway, i am back on the project and will try to inform you more regulary from now on ;D So, after many researches i started transofrming the Tamiya body. I casted this at home-i didn't want to "sacrifice" the Tamiya kit. It came pretty good-(my first attempt by the way , but the final product will be casted by a professional. I also contacted MAZDA Muzeum in Japan.. - They were very kind and sent to me very detailed pictures of the car. I used Milliput to make the fenders. This was needed because the copied body is a bit softer than the plastic and i wanted to reinforce it. This material is quite good, but hard for sanding... After 3 hours i managed to get some kind of a shape of the back. Not much to see though and it is still very rough and thick, but tonight i continue with the sanding I also "created" my brand- "V-Modeller" and a facebook page where i will also update the information about the project. See you soon

Sirius work my friend, but the progress looks promising. A tip that I use in my 308 Gr4 Rally, is to seal the epoxic putty of the fenders, with CA glue to make more stable and smooth. Looking forward for your next update... : :
